Jack Chapman - Artisan of country-laced rock and soulful grooves. Taking his cues from acts as diverse as Fleetwood Mac, John Mayer, and D’Angelo, Jack pens music for those with itchy feet and reflective minds; for the late night drive, and the journey home.
From an early age, Jack was already knee-deep in songwriting & performance, with guitar playing at the forefront. More than a decade of musical adventures with 2-4 piece rock bands led him to his soaring debut EP Heal This Way.
Working with the full force of Andy Baker and Resound Media, this released in July 2017 and reached no.7 in the iTunes UK Singer-Songwriter chart with high acclaim from radio & press. This was followed by The Galaxies Collide Tour and live shows across the UK including Sheffield's The Leadmill, Tramlines Festival, Brighton's Great Escape Festival, and many more. Read Your Mind Rose from this success, a pop-fuelled single that ignited a new fire.
Joined by a full band, his live show is ocean-wide and continues to evolve with a cast of stellar musicians. Add to this a healthy dose of intricate and emotive guitar playing, and you should expect an impressive show and bright future for this emerging talent.
Written & brought to life during the worldwide lockdown of 2020, The new single 'Home' is a solitary, cinematic oasis in a turbulent time. Jack explores a new sound suited for the big screen, emotive and lush. With reflective moments of cello & slide guitar, and rich production from Grammy winning producer Chris Wilkinson, it begs the questions 'who' and 'what' is 'Home'? Available in all digital stores with music video debut 30th Oct 2020.
